We are from New Mexico so we are used to Mexican/New Mexican food, it's not quite that and I'm not sure it's really TexMex either but it has it's own thing going on. Good taco's, fresh tortillas, Guac and then they have some chicken enchilada soup that can be served on a baked potato strange, but quite good.

We stopped by this establishment because it was on the main street and I was hungry for Tex-Mex. Almost immediately I had reservations about the food when I saw it being served to us. On a long drive back from Colorado (missing TexMex!), we decided to stop at Big Juan's instead of McDonald's. MISTAKE! Tortillas -- fine. Guac -- fine. Cheese - how can you mess that up?
