6 of us had lunch there today and it was awesome....the food is outstanding. Best Red Snapper I've ever had, full of flavor. We will definitely go back.

I was going to be in the area for the weekend so I searched for a non-chain restuarant for dinner with me and my fiance. I was excited to see the other reviews for this place as it seemed right up my alley and I have a soft spot for Italian food. We arrived and I was very pleased with... More

Mike P...I'm a faithful, long time customer of Villa Italia. I loved it when Norma was running it, and it's every bit as good now that Jose has taken over in her absence. I've eaten in some of the best restaurants in the country, and I would rank Villa Italia at the top of a very tasty list. To even... More

Here is a restaurant with a lot of history. It's as quaint as can be with a quiet dining feel. Good food, clean environment--the owner tries hard with the food and wine. I will be back. Only thing, it's hard to find because the building is an old house and doesn't stand out. Sort of "tucked away"

Worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. Had to beg for service to get any at all. Several groups left in disgust because no one bothered to even come and take their drink order. Food is below average - think pasta swimming in a bland sauce. Wine list consists of low quality box wine. Do yourself a favor... More

Just came to town from Dallas, so of course have eaten at some great places. This is right up there with some of the best. It's great, simple, flavourfull and just plain yummy. The current owners worked in the restaurant for many years and took over after the death of Norma, the original owner. These gentleman must have truly loved... More

I am a huge foodie and I have to say, I so appreciate fresh, homemade, quality food like rhis! Had the shrimp scampi appetizer, red snapper entree, and tiramisu. Fresh bread with herbed olive oil was brought to the table and I ordered the house cabernet. It was all wonderfully delicious! I could have literally licked the plates clean of... More

Nestled in historic downtown Conroe, this quaint little restaurant could be the best thing a friend ever shared with me! The food? Delicious and consistent. The atmosphere? Like an authentic Italian home. The owner? Friendly, sincere, true and graceful… just for starters! My lunch or dinner is always great and my pallet completely satisfied when I lift my fork at... my son and I just recently rediscovered " Villa Itailia " The first time we ate at Villa Itailia my son was 8 yrs old. Now he's 22 and still couldn't get enough of Norma's famous Lasagna after eating sauteed squid. I had Norma's tasty Red Snapper with asparagus. We have been back 5 times just in January alone and...
