Good for groups & quick, cheap eats. Essentially it's a dive Tex Mex joint. One note: the guacamole had way too much pepper in it!
SATCO is great ! My son and I go there for lunch almost every Saturday for the last 5 years +. This is truly a Nashville Gem ! The atmosphere is great and the food quality is always consistent. No, its not a 5 star restaurant. If that is what you want, then go to one of those. The staff... More
I rarely, if ever, crave food from SATCO but go there out of necessity when all of the other restaurants are crowded with students. Service is RAPID (you haven't put your credit card in your wallet before they call your name) but it's loud and crowded. Definitely a college hang out.
Went with about 10 people. Very close the Vanderbilt U. Each item each of us had ie fish tacos, pulled pork etc was very tasty. The prices are very reasonable but be careful it adds up quickly.
This location is close to Vanderbilt hospital and college and a great little Mexian taco joint with the college atmosphere. You'll need to park in a garage across the alley from the restaurant and just walk over. They have lots of outdoor patio seating so you can enjoy the weather and views. This restaurant has been in the same location... More
The laid back fun attentive employees only add to the very affordable delicious food. I also think this is the best place to share a bucket of beer outside on the deck with friends on a relaxing fall afternoon.
Great college atmosphere, friendly fast service, boisterous crowd, but the tacos are just good. Queso was OK, but a trip to the salsa bar fixed that. The fajita tacos were cooked well, but needed some additional spices to kick it up. A fun place for a quick lunch, but not the best tacos we've ever had.
My husband frequented this place over 20 years ago in college in Nashville. Our family stopped this weekend on the way to and from our destination up north. Yummy seasoned Mexican food unlike some "authentic" Mexican food that has no seasoning. Chili tacos are great, as is the cheese dip. Cheese enchiladas tend to be a little on the greasy... More
I went here today for lunch and this was my first time at SATCO. I ordered a regular taco, a side of rice and an order of chips and queso. First got my food and went to eat some queso and there was a tag (like one from a piece of clothing) that had a stain on it that was... More
