Beautiful setting! Great service! Delicious food offerings! I had the short ribs-Wow!--melt in your mouth yummy (would have liked mashed potatoes to complement the beef.) My sister chose the sea bass--not a generous serving--but very tasty. Everyone was satisfied with their choices. Would definitely return to try other entrees, etc.

From the reviews we saw this looked like a great place for dinner and it was indeed just grand. What is with the steak knives? We had two different styles of plates for our lamb T-bone and we could keep the knives from sliding - handle down - into the sauce. We did tell the manager. Fabulous food and atmosphere... More

The food was really good but the service... hmmm. There is plenty of room to improve their service. I would compare their service to Applebees, your water glass is always full but that is about it. Very pleasing decor and ambiance. The "family style" vegetables did not necessarily match the main dishes, so we were not too excited about that.... More

Great staff at this hotel and in the restaurant. Nothing was really memorable as over-the-top delicious but service was great.

I live in Nashville and thought I would try dinner at 1808 Grille in the Hutton Hotel. The space is really pretty, but dinner was ok. The menu is a little odd...pad thai and gnocchi. The menu is way overpriced for the quality of food. I doubt that I will return.

I had a very nice dinner at 1808 tonight. I exceptionally enjoyed the starter of grouper cheeks in a delicious sauce. This was followed by a more-than-generous portion of short ribs accompanied with a fried potato cake on top with horseradish cream. It was wonderful! I had a nice glass of Zinfandel from Mendocino with my dinner. Before I left... More

Sort of pricey (but what room service isn't?), but some of the best food I've ever had in a hotel room. The grilled fish (I had two different varieties over two different nights) was excellent, as were the vegetable side dishes. The desserts weren't anything to write home about, but the dinners were excellent.

I had a small plate appetizer - the smoked escolar - and a large plate entree - the halibut - and both were unbelievably good. Sides are complimentary, which I don't think is clearly mentioned on the menu but who cares, they're complimentary and delicious. The seating is quite comfortable. The design is inspired. Loved this place!
