We have a tradition of spending Mother's Day lunch at Suba's... We have never been disappointed and look forward to the experience each year! Wonderful diverse menu and such a great dessert selection! I promise you will not be disappointed. The food reminds us of an upscale tavern in Colonial Williamsburg! More

Wow! This place was amazing! It is small, but decor is fabulous, atmosphere is wonderful, service great, and the food!!! It has unique menu choices and the deserts looked fantastic, but I was too full to try! I'm coming back just to try the desert next time! More

My wife & I finally had a chance to try Suba's after many trips to Mountain City. I had a burger and my wife had a chicken dish. The food was very good, and the service was excellent and the staff is very pleasant. We found the restaurant is very clean inside and out and tastefully decorated. The best part... More

The food was good, the portions were very large. The desserts looked fabulous! The dining room was small and crowded. Overall, though, a nice place to eat. More

I have lived in the Tri-Cities for 22 years and had not eaten at the famous Suba's until now. The rumors are true; this is an AMAZING restaurant. A diverse menu, fabulous desserts, superb service. Sophistication with a home-spun charm. More

Me and my girlfriend came down in 2009 for the spring race at Bristol Motor speedway, This was the highlight of our trip. I had the greechian steak, steph had a chicken mushroomy thing "in her own words". It was DELICIOUS and the service was tops. As if that wasn't enough, the desserts were in a league of their own.... My husband and I were referred here by the innkeepers of Prospect Hill Bed & Breakfast. We were celebrating my husband's birthday & our 3-month wedding anniversary. At first, upon pulling in we thought it was going to be your boring local type steak/seafood restaurant. Well after walking in, we were pleasantly surprised to see a original wooden Greyhound bus... Heard about this restaurant and thought it was the typical soup & sandwich place. Imagine my surprise to find quality upscale food, excellent taste, unusual flavors in the tiny town of Mtn City! I had Grecian pasta w/shrimp, a wonderful creamy tomato soup & coconut cream pie. It's not cheap, but worth it!! Make reservations. More

My husband and I have enjoyed Suba's for years. The food is delicious every time we visit. The staff is wonderful...always friendly and ready to serve. I'd recommend calling ahead for reservations during busy times. (They're always busy on Sundays after church!) I'd highly recommend Suba's to visitors as well as locals who are looking for a really nice dinner... More
