Went to Halls Gap for Mother's Day outing with the whole family. Luckily got a seat in this packed place, for good reason; the food is just so darned good! Our table of 7 people all had something a little different, but everyone was pretty happy with the choice. I had the Grilled Barramundi. Came with salad and chips. Good... More

We had breakfast here, sitting inside due to the rain. It was fine though lots of grease on the plate from the bacon. Pancakes would have been better if they had come with fruit on top. The place was packed at Easter with crowds coming and going. Service was prompt even though they were very busy. The inside lacks atmosphere.

Our after bushwalking treat was the wonderful lemon meringue pie that they get sent up from Melbourne. The serves are so generous that one piece is enough to share and my husband is a big eater! It was so good we went back a second time. The soy hot chocolate was average so I would not try the soy coffee.

There is a captive customer base in Halls Gap so any cafe/restaurant has you by the throat. We tried this cafe because it was central & open on a Tuesday evening. The food choice on the face of it looked ok but it was a filler, nothing more, no taste no style! The Lasagne was dry & like cardboard but... More

Great service and food. The home made pizza was only second to my very own. My man had a 500g rump which was mooing to perfection. Reasonably priced cafe serving quality food and not under the guise of trying to be; like so many others, something that it simply is not. Bravo Black Panther.

Lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by. Calamari was very average as was the chicken and the salad was not as good as elsehwre. The milkshakes bland compared to others in the area. Staff friendly and prices reasonable.

We had a large takeaway pizza. Service was excellent with a beaming smile. We only had to wait for 10 minutes, but the pizza was very average. Lots of dough and not much topping.
