Four old friends had a lovely evening. Delicious cockles, bacon and laverbread and local fresh asparagus too. The steaks were quite superb, about the best ever, service exemplary and a fine well priced Rioja as well. George would have been well pleased. We will return and soon. Tim D. More

Not the cheapest but certainly the best around. Traditional food using top quality ingredients cooked perfectly, combine this with elegant surroundings, good service and an excellent range of wines and real ales and you're onto a winner! More

Was recommended this pub by the chap in the guitar shop and was thoroughly pleased with our choice. Was a very welcoming atmosphere and despite being very busy in the restaurant area was offerred a seat/table in the bar area which was perfect. Food was very tasty (belly of pork and Suet pudding) and would certainly have returned had time... More

We ate here for the second time in a month and were again very pleased with the quality standards of the meal. They have a great chef / sous chef / kitchen staff who clearly know their trade and have a strong skills base. We are quite critical as the benchmark for us is our many visits to France where... We were in Pembroke on Sunday and had no idea what restaurants were there. We just walked along the main street and saw the Tripadvisor sticker in the window of The Kings Arms - thought, it must be OK if they've got that! We had a look at the menu and they seemed to have something to suit all tastes.... More
