Enjoyed several visits over the last few days and had a good time. The pub is warm, friendly and welcoming. The food is very nice in particular the gammon and the lamb and every portion comes with a large side of chips. Recommendation to the owner is to offer some quality wine by the glass. More

when we visited it was very busy - you got the feeling that some of the food was frozen and bought in, our Sunday roast had boiled potatoes as they`d run out of roasted ones, puddings were boring and the same as many places - obviously from the same supplier.
