Lovely, newly refurbished pub in the square in Ruthin. Well recommended. Had a lovely meal which was superb. The decor was lovely.

the ambience and atmosphere. The castle was a gem of a place and better than many other Wetherspoons.

After a major refit The Castle Hotel (Wetherspoon) has been well restored/modernised whilst reminding the visitor of the historic past of the hotel. whether you are having just a coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner this pub is very well priced and the standard of food is good and well presented. I, as yet !, have not had any reason to complain

Good pub food and plenty of it. The pub itself was clean and staff were very polite and helpful. Cheap and cheerful food.

Lovely building transformed from the old castle hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent with daily deals and good service.
