Went to Four Way for lunch. Arrived around 1:00 p.m. so the lunch crowd was leaving at the time. Quickly seated and ordered. Had fried chicken, pinto beans and mash potatoes. All the food was hot, the chicken was freshly cooked. The service was good. It was good and I enjoyed it. If you are on a budget, the prices... More

The fried chicken is better than my mother ever made. Turnips greens are to die for. My husband and I eat here every Sunday. I love to cook and love good food. This place is worth the visit.

We visited on a Sunday when we were driving through town and let me assure you, we felt VERY underdressed! It was awesome to see the whole community come straight from church. Hallelujah! The food was amazing. We ordered EVERY SIDE because we wanted to try them all as well as the fried chicken and pot roast. We can't wait... More

My kids had the fried catfish, which they liked a lot. The greens didn't taste fresh. The turkey (and dressing) was good but there wasn't a lot of it. Unfortunately they were out of quite a few things by the time we got there around 1 p.m. Should of had some sweet potato pie.

Not much to look at, but the food and the service are phenomenal! If you are from out of town, be sure to sign their guest book.

The restaurant is nothing fancy, but who cares. The home cooked "soul food" was simple, tasty, and warms the heart. I had the fried chicken, which was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, just the way I like it. I had turnip greens, smoky and tasty, and candied yams. Yum. My partner had liver and onions, cooked cabbage, and... More

I recently saw Four Way featured on The Travel Channel's Food Paradise featuring soul food. As I was visiting Memphis for spring break for a conference, I decided to give this place a try. And I can finally say I've found a restaurant featured on TV that lived up to its hype! I went during lunch time and was greeted... More

There's nothing fancy about Four Way, but I can't help but give it an very good rating for the down home quality of their food and friendly service. A sign on the restaurant says that they are celebrating their 65th anniversary. The outside is nothing special, even a little intimidating with the wire screens on the windows, but go in... More

My family and I ate at the Four Way on 2/21/13 after stopping by the Stax Museum. The food was wonderful, and the service was prompt and friendly. Mr. Bates the owner stopped to visit for a minute or two as well. I had the salmon crochets, yams, and turnip greens. All were wonderful. My family has the fried chicken... More

This is old-fashioned soul food at a locally famous establishment. Four Way was recommended by the staff at Stax (which was a lot of fun, by the way). I had fried chicken with corn and mashed potato, all of which were fresh and tasty. Service was friendly.
