I travel a lot & eat out a lot. This was one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in a decade. Outstanding dinner.

Tonight, we celebrated a special occasion here. When they called to discuss the occasion, they asked what they could do special. They asked what type of dessert they could make, listing options they have. I asked if they had bread pudding, as this is my husband's favorite. Since it was special, they made his favorite just for him. This was...

This is an amazing restaurant and the atmosphere is great. The owner greets the tables and makes you feel special. Very flavorful!
We have dined at Erling Jensen on various occasions and they have never disappointed. Unfortunately, my opinion changed on Valentine's Day. As most restaurants usually do, they had a pre fix menu. Meal cost was $85.00 per person. The menu included lobster bisque (it was pretty tasty), choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert. My husband had the roasted shrimp appetizer...

We finally tried Erling Jensen and it did not disappoint! Service was excellent, our server having worked there for 17 years! Each dish was incredible...from the lobster pancake appetizer to our entrees (prime ribeye and elk chop). Warning: the blueberry cobbler is outstanding but does turn your teeth blue...but it's worth it. Must go!
This is the restaurant that you want to go to to enjoy a special event. The food is always unusual and there are so many choices of things on the menu and all sound wonderful. Very hard to make a decision there.
From the second you walk into this establishment you are treated as a very valued guest. Service is impeccable. The dishes are incredible, innovative, seducing and rich. The wine list is unending and the the staff make wonderful wine recommendations to complement the meal. Deserts are delicious and stunning. Five stars!
We eat here for our anniversary yearly as the food is wonderful and different (elk) and the service impeccable without being annoying. Expensive but worth it.
Looked forward to New Year's Eve at this highly touted "french" restaurant. We were not disappointed. The menu had limited choices but with a six course dinner, we were not disappointed and had some unique surprises. We started with a scallop accompanied by some black eyed peas - a must on New Year's in the south!! Next was a Dungeness...

We have been twice recently and we noticed a big difference in the food. Erling was there on the better occasion, so I think that must have been the difference. I've picked up quite a few of the wines they pair with and they have all been great too. Memphis is very limited in the fine dining department especially if...
