This place was recommended by the people at the Holiday Inn Express. We ordered the pork slab for 2 with two sides of baked beans and cole slaw and took it back to our hotel room. Good thing we had extra napkins! It was really good! The place had carry out or eat it there. More

I have ate the the A&R Downtown twice in the past year and think it is great. The waitresses have been fantastic and very friendly, good food. The decor is plain but don't let it fool you. Stay away from the A&R on Elvis Presly Blvd, pretty scary place but downtown location is great! More

Had an excellent half rack of ribs here immediately following dinner at Cozy Corner. A&R was much better and had a larger crowd to prove it. Excellent St. Louis style ribs. More

A co-worker and I picked up orders for several of us. Everything was well organized. They had placed our names on our orders, so there was no mix-up and the food was GREAT! I actually like it better than The Rendezvous' dry meat. Way to go A & R!! Keep up the gopd work. More
