Food and service good but we always have to wait for a table. Most people must book and there are always people it is worth the wait though . Hope it re opens soon More

Searched this one out on a recent visit to Troon following the reviews here., It's currently closed awaiting refurbishment following a fire. It's apparently owned by the same people who have Scotts at the harbour-which was fabulous.Will certainly be on the lookout for it reopening. Local taxi driver we had on the Scotts visit said menus etc were quite similar. More

Excellent for brunch & coffee! I would go to Scotts (sister restaurant)for my evening meal but for a pizza/pasta dish this is great value. I have been here quite a lot. I am amazed how busy it is. Food is ok, pretty standard for the buzzworks group. Could be any of their restaurants through out Ayrshire with the exception of the pizza. The decor and atmosphere stand out. The food doesn't. More

The Lido in Troon is part of small group of restaurants/bistros in Ayrshire and they seem to have a winning formula. Lido has been a brilliant place to eat/drink at any time we have been. We have been in with the kids for lunch, with friends for a few drinks and for quiet meals at night and the atmosphere changes subtly throughout the day to suit. The Calzone is superb!! More

Dine in Lidos on a regular basis, it has always been a great night whether going out with a group friends, or just as a couple. food is always at a high standard and staff are friendly. hope to be back soon. More

Went with my husband and another couple on sunday 29th jan. and had a lovely meal from their cheaper options. Chicken and chorizo crepe with a thai sauce, delicious! We visited this restaurant for lunch and we were not disappointed. The menu is very varied and you can also go for the cheaper deals if you wish. The food is great and the staff were really helpful, even changing our dinner reservation to their sister restaurant, Scott's without any hassle. Would go back. More
