Was impressed with the Buckie crab starter and plenty of other local produce on the menu. The prices are on the high side. More

We came from Aberdeen and I wanted something special for my fiancés birthday. We went on recommendation to the Crown and Anchor in Finhorn. We were immediately taken by the location and this charming old pub hotel which looks like some of the interior dates from when it was built in the 1700's. An old stone fire place with lit... More

We love the Crown and Anchor, we eat and drink here at least once a week. We have never had a bad meal. The owners are lovely and make us feel very welcome. We love going here ordering a drink sitting by the roaring fire and putting the world to rights. More

Living in Glasgow, my wife and I needed a weekend break out of the hustle and bustle. We've visited Findhorn on many occasions and love this part of the world, though have never taken an overnight stay in the village itself. Having read skeptical reviews here on trip adviser, our expectations were not the best, but we were pleasantly surprised... More

On colder days, the wood burning stove warms us (and the dog) following our walk along the dunes. As regular diners, my... More

We visited the pub/restaurant without a reservation thinking we might not get a table - the place was empty! The other pub/restaurant in the village was full. We were pointed to the dining room if we wanted or we could try and find a seat in the pub area. Staff carried on their loud conversations and seemed indifferent to us... More

A truly tasty Sauvignon Blanc. Obviously excellent "Cask Quality" ale.....and a very cosy fire on a picturesque, if somewhat crispy, northern evening. More

Found the owner/staff accommodating of myself and my bike, the burger I had at teatime was excellent, good pint of beer too! Breakfast was served by a very friendly cook/waitress and it was very tasty! More
