We came from Aberdeen and I wanted something special for my fiancés birthday. We went on recommendation to the Crown and Anchor in Finhorn. We love the Crown and Anchor, we eat and drink here at least once a week. We have never had a bad meal. The owners are lovely and make us feel very welcome. We love going here ordering a drink sitting by the roaring fire and putting the world to rights.

A truly tasty Sauvignon Blanc. Obviously excellent "Cask Quality" ale.....and a very cosy fire on a picturesque, if somewhat crispy, northern evening.

Found the owner/staff accommodating of myself and my bike, the burger I had at teatime was excellent, good pint of beer too! Breakfast was served by a very friendly cook/waitress and it was very tasty!
