we have had friends and family stay here during this year it is a lovely hotel with a good breakfast the evening meals are good value for money
This is somewhere else in Kingsbridge that we hadn't tried, mainly because of the way it looked through the windows, but that was before it was done up. This time we were glad we went in. Nice, comfortable leather sofas and chairs, tastefully lit and friendly staff. We only popped in for a drink but the burgers that came out... More
Lovely coaching inn in Kingsbridge. Always a good choice of real ales, local and from up country. The food is always good, pub menu to a consistently high standard. Two for one burgers on Friday and pie night Thursday. Very good value.
Earlier this year I reviewed here, according to the hotel responses on this site, the hotel gives good service but unfortunately it does not serve the passing trade with the same professionalism, with regard to the restaurant and general atmosphere in the bar. The hotel is still not open for coffee in the mornings, to meet friends prior to lunch.... More
Happily came across this hotel/restaurant while strolling through Kingsbridge. We had Sunday lunch - an excellent roast chicken with melting butternut squash, tasty red cabbage, roast veggies etc for £8.95. Staff friendly and attentive. Toilet facilities adequate but in need of decoration (as the owners are new I expect this is on their list of things-to-do). The Kings Arms restaurant... More
Interesting menu one item not available. tasty food. service a bit slow. good breakfast. Interesting owners.

We decided to give it a chance, as new people had bought the hotel, although our friends had advised us we may be disappointed, as they had asked when the bar... More
A most friendly, welcoming bar with comfortable seating, a log fire and everyone accepted!! The food is good, staff are friendly, Tuesday and Sunday evenings offer discount drinks - a great idea. Also a very pleasant hotel to stay in ... Highly recommended on all levels....

Set halfway up Kingsbridge's main street, Fore Street, the impressive facade of The Kings Arms sits gazing down over this fascinating and delightful market town in The undiscovered South Hams of Devon. We enjoyed a simple but really well delivered lunch and some fine... More
We popped in for a quick drink & bite to eat on a cold November night & were met by a roaring fire & really warm welcome from Kathy. Enjoyed a really delicious Shiraz (unusually at the perfect temperature) & fabulous ale. Were offered a good menu, all home made, & opted for a naughty burger. Undoubtedly the best burger... More
