Don't be put off by the slightly shabby exterior. The food is great - especially the crab and the fish and chips

The only place we went to on our day trip for something to eat and a great choice. Excellent value for money and well presented tasty food. Thanks for a great meal, perfect before I trip home.
We visited here on liberation day and it was packed! Although they were very busy the manager took my number and promised to call me as soon as there was a table free, for our party of 6, so we were free to have a wonder. Not 20 min later she called to tell us our table was ready, now...

I was invited by firends to a 'treat' meal and after discussion, we chose The Boathouse - it's reputation and past experiences have been very good. HOWEVER, on this occasion, we were extremely disappointed. My hosts ordered a Filet Steak with Bearnaise Sauce and 'Fish and Chips. I also chose the Filet Steak, same sauce, but French Fries instead of...

Used to be a firm favourite. Chef overlooked fillet steak three times. Dry and wreaked. Waiter just grunted when this was pointed out. Manageress did not seem to care when we complained. Made no effort to address the fact customers were unhappy. Won't go there again. Suggest you avoid too.
Myself and two friends go there when we can all get together for lunch, as it is such a nice place. There is seating both inside and outside, the best being out back which overhangs part of the harbour. They do a lovely Prosecco! It changes in the winter to what looks like a swiss chalet and do fondue and...

My husband and I visited one evening, found the prices were a bit pricey and they concentrate more on Seafood, I chose the Brie Fritters which were lovely and never had them presented
that way before really enjoyed that dish. We both had Caesar Salad with breaded scampi
bit pricey for what we got but still enjoyable, it came in...

good venue excellent location we sat on the car park side, choose the terrace its better. Husband had lamb burger with feta and toms, very good. I had seafood ploughmans, very good and fresh, very good value at £12 ish. came quickly, friendly service. Turns into a ski chalet venue type restaurnat with fondue in the winter, worth a try!
I have been visiting Guernsey regularly for 35yrs and it never fails to improve my view of what is possible with effort. I have just raved about the Jerbourg Hotel and this local hot spot is similar in as much as ALL the staff go that "extra mile" for customers.
Right in the centre of this beautiful harbour front, this...

We stopped by the boathouse whilst taking a walk along the harbour in st peter's port. We did'nt intend to have anything to eat, we just wanted a drink. Service was prompt & our table was located in the conservatory type extention of the restaurant. There are lovely views of the harbour & sea front & the restaurant itself is...
