Your stereotypical East TN "mexican" food. As a former TX resident this is barely above microwave quality /tv dinner quality. Its not that bad but also not that good. If you need a place to "flop" and eat something cheap I suppose it would do.

I grew up on Mexican food on the Texas/Mexico border. This has to be the WORST Mexican food I have eaten in my 60 years. Great service, good food served hot and fast, Margaritas are above average. A good value and worth a repeat visit.

I went for luch and did not go away hungry! What an amazing value for your dollar too. Interesting choices on the menus mean there is something for everyone. The location is very simple and basic, but you can't disagree with the quality and value if you are looking more for good food vs. fancy atmosphere.

Based in a converted old Wendy's location, Molcajetes has won in a local newspaper poll for Best Mexican more than once. Lunch specials are a bargain.
