Service was awful from start to finish. Restaurant was loud and not clean. Food was surprisingly good, but cold and took far too long to arrive.

Great food, artistically presented. Entrees come with 2 sides and a side salad is $2 extra. Most of the entrees are under $20. Service was slow and the restaurant is one big room and noisy. Decor is nice.

We love the Battery. They have put some thought into their food. The scalloped potatoes and creamed corn are authentic carolinian. The fish is always a good cut and portion and fixed just right with wine, lemon and capers. Salads are only $2 extra when you order an entree. And you get 2 sides with that that are not skimpy....
