Excellent and friendly service, food is always fresh. a little bit out of the way but worth the drive.
My wife and I stopped for lunch at Judy's as a break on our drive from Savannah to Charlotte. Service was prompt and friendly. We both had fried shrimp, which was pretty good for an inland restaurant; breading was light. Vegetable sides were good, as was the cornbread. Southeast side of Columbia - conveniently off I-26 and back on I-77... More
Have been here twice and both times the food was good. Seemed to be fresh ingredients and cooked fresh. Went for a third time and arrived at 2:35 and they wouldn't seat my party. They said they were closing but we could come in if we wanted to order take out. REALLY??? What kind of operation and service is that?... More
I've probably eaten here six or seven times. The first couple of times, when it was a new restaurant, the food wasn't the best. We also had black-eyed peas and mac and cheese. Prices for lunch meals are about $8, so it is certainly reasonable. The service was great and we were glad... More
I had the special: chicken and dumplings with the vegetable of the day crowder peas. All was delicious. Add some Texas Pete's hot pepper sauce and you are all set for a great lunch.
The food is pretty good most of the time. The desserts are good the white and red wine pound cakes are a must try. The service can be hit or miss.
After a weekend of fine, fresh cuisine in Charleston, I was dreading having to settle for fast food on the way home. So glad that I found Judy's. Convenient off I-26 but a little hard to find until I realized that it was in the SC Farmers Market. The meatloaf with the tomato salsa on top was extremely flavorful and... More
The service and atmosphere was wonderful. The food was tasty and at a reasonable price.
