Our son attended Wofford College. Our first weekend there, we went exploring to see what was up around town. Out of the corner of her eye, my wife spotted a sign for a Cuban restaurant. Being that I'm Cuban, I said that, "this is South Carolina, I don't think there are any Cubans here." Boy was I wrong! Gaston, the... More

I recently ate here and the food wasn't bad, but wasn't great. I clearly heard a microwave being used in the kitchen and the food came to fast to be fresh. Some of my food was also so hot (the only kind of hot you get in a microwave). I was disappointed about that. When I go out I don't... More

My husband and I just recently moved to Spartanburg from a big city, and since we absolutely love trying new restaurants that aren't part of a big chain, we were thrilled that we found this delicious Caribbean gem in the area. The food was amazing and tasted like a home cooked meal. We had never tried Cuban food before, and... More

This is real good food served by folks who are the genuine article. No frills, simple menu, but everything is prepared fresh by the owner, Cuban native Gaston. Save room for a batido (Cuban shake)!

We stumbled across this little restaurant and have returned several times. The apparent owner is a warm and outgoing fellow. The dishes seem to be mostly Cuban and are all good. It is not fancy, but it is great place to discover some new tastes.

While on a roadtrip, we decided to pick the #1 restaurant on trip advisor to stop in and eat while driving through Spartanburg. We could not have made a better decision. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. This is the first authentic Cuban restaurant I have eaten at since I lived in Miami. We had a Cubano... More

Traveling to Myrtle Beach we found this place on trip advisor. Well worth the trip off the highway. I had the piccadlla beef, recommend by the owner. It was great, served with red beans and rice plus a tamale. The barbacoa beef was great as my husband can attest to.

The best I have tasted this side iof the Mississippi. Great value. My wife and I ended up taking food home. I'm looking forward to trying their entire menu.

If you drive to fast you'll miss this little treasure. Went for the first time and I couldn't believe what I've been missing. The food is fantastic and the portions are huge. They also have the best coffee ever!! I will be putting them on my list of regulars.

Had lunch with a client here for the first time and it was delicious! The atmosphere is great and charming. My client loved her food and mine was delicious. I'm a vegetarian and there's only one option, a vegetable plate, which was delicious....hopefully they'll expand on that part of their menu! But it's still gets a 5 out of me!... More
