Southside Smokehouse & Grille serves some of the best BBQ i've ever had. The staff are very friendly and do an excellent job with their service. The location is great for small or large groups and the New Orleans themed atmosphere was very clean and pleasant. Well worth the drive from anywhere to taste the great food.

We decided to go for a drive to Landrum for some local antique shopping. Saw this place, drove past, then decided to turn around and give it a shot. Boy, we're we glad we did! We started out with fried pickles (was a little leery cause most restaurants are yucky) but these were double breaded for a really crispy crust...

Hey, so glad you enjoyed your meal with us! Just so you know, if you come back in the summer I will have tons of fried okra. I just normally wait till summer when I can get it super fresh and local and yummy.

We had the trout, substituting beets for broccoli and cauliflower on menu, and the flatiron steak with chef special madeira sauce option. The food was plentiful and delicious. The trout came with a creamy yogurt sauce and pomgranite seeds for a tangy accent. The steak, ordered to be med. rare, was more on the well done side but was tender....

We live in the nearby area and never hesitate to stop at this restaurant. Honestly, they have the most delicious ribs that melt in your mouth (I generally don't care for ribs)...Their pulled pork sandwich and sides are always my favorite. I have noticed they are offering a much wider choices of foods and the atmosphere has been completely updated....

Nice variety of New Orleans type of food. Fun game nights add to the social experience. Wish they has more selections for vegetarians.
