The ribs are fall off the bone, to die for. Just wish they had more sauces available...but I really can't complain. The food is awesome and we're always had great service.

Wife and I stopped in for lunch on the way to NC. Kind of an early 1900’s pub atmosphere set inside an older brick building; lots of dark wood and old fashioned signs on the walls. We were immediately greeted by the hostess and seated. They were right in the middle of a busy lunch, but the waitress was right...

Visited this restaurant during lunchtime. This was my 3rd time and each time I have been happy with my experience. The staff is friendly and pub atmosphere is engaging. The restaurant is located on the corner in downtown Landrum and has outdoor seating that lends to the carefree vibe. I had a wrap, as I had the last time I...

We have eaten here several times and the food was always quite good. The problem this last time was as follows: a friend ordered prime rib medium rare, it came out rare so it was sent back. It was prepared as ordered, but when our friend started to eat she stated that it was of poor quality, stringy and tough....

Great food & great atmosphere. When we go to Lake Lure, this is one of our "must do" places. Friends and family agree ;)

We stopped here for lunch while visiting family. The place was busy ~ great lunch menu with enormous sandwiches, steaming bowls of soup, fresh salads, and very friendly servers. We ordered a hot ham and cheese (which would have been called a croque monsieur anywhere else - it was delicious) served with home-made potato chips (I had to fight my...

Was antiquing with two gals today and we wanted something to eat other than a chain restaurant, or place that didn't look seedy. Was heading towards Landrum and one of te women suggested H&H, she'd been there once before, and while I had heard of it, drove by it many times, I had yet to eat there, nor did they...

We stopped in here for lunch on our way up I26. The town is about a mile off the highway and this is one of the few restaurants in the town. It is very convenient to all the shopping on the same street.
We both had sandwiches which were pretty good and fairly large. The homemade chips which are not...

While our wives were shopping, my friend of more than fifty years and I visited the Hare and Hound; it was an enjoyable hour. The place was crowded and we sat at the bar. The bartender, a female, was friendly and engaging, as were the patrons on each side of us. The bar has several television screens and three football...

Let me start by saying that I am VERY picky about my chicken salad. Let me follow that up with "Go and eat the Honey Child chicken salad sandwich at Hare and Hound!" All white meat, good mayo, served on a toasted croissant with almonds and honey drizzled over it. Wow. I am wanting another one as I type this....
