Description: Larkin’s on the River is an award-winning restaurant serving premium cut steaks, fresh seafood, and fine wines. Every menu item is created with the freshest ingredients and served with a creative flair. Larkin’s on the River at the Peace Center for the performing arts, is situated in the heart of downtown Greenville, along the banks of the Reedy River, in the old Gower Coach Factory. With beautiful preserved exposed brick walls and open ceilings, the history of the building serves as the perfect backdrop to the modern and hip atmosphere Larkin’s on the River offers.

We sat outside and it was lovely. Our waiter Joe was the BEST! The food expensive but worth every bite. If you want something really special go to Larkin's On The River.

We traveled down the mountains from Asheville to attend the Fine Arts Festival in Greenville and looked online for a attractive lunch spot. Larkin's was a perfect find for us. The location next to the Peace Center and overlooking the river, with public parking nearby, is convenient and easy to find. The ambiance is upscale and comfortable, with patio seating... More

I am gluten intolerant and the waitstaff was very knowledgeable and most helpful. I had gluten free shee crab soup, as well as gluten free bread pudding. All the food was excellent.

Larkin's is where my husband and I treat ourselves every few months. We love this place! We have been many times but the most recent visit was last weekend (April 27). It is a high end (aka expensive) restaurant but it is soooooooooo worth the money. The steaks are to die for! Tender, juicy, always cooked perfectly! i usually add... More

Great atmosphere and the perfect location! Falls Park and the Reedy River are all a stones throw away and during the summer, entertainment is just outside the door. We have eaten here three times and always enjoyed our meals. This time, my husbands bone in rib eye was undercooked. He ordered it cooked med but it came a little rare.... More

Larkin's is a great restaurant with excellent food that is flavor infused. We have eaten a variety of selections here and have always been delighted with all of the items. I particularly love the She Crab soup and Salmon. They make salads with a variety of ingredients so they are very tasty - not just poured out of a salad... More

We ate at Larkin's for dinner and there were only a couple of other groups dining, which made the atmosphere kind of depressing. Food was average, and at this price point there are better options in downtown Greenville. I would recommend Soby's instead.

This was our third visit and everything is always the same... good, but not great. The problem may be that we were always in the bar, or outside to eat (my fault for not making reservations more in advance). Again, I have no complaints... the food was good, service good (if very busy), and the price was reasonable for the... More

Great ambiance with outdoor seating also available. Fantastic menu with wonderful well prepared basic items such as steaks and lobster tail. They also have gourmet items but not exotic like so many restaurants have gone to. Service was excellent and prices were moderate for this type of experience.

The food was perfect, lots of it, and the server was knowledgeable. Right by the river, downtown, it was a great place to eat with friends.

Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback! We think our Certified Angus Beef is the best in the city and it's nice to hear from guests who think the same thing! When you get back to Greenville, come check out the wonderful Spring weather on our patio. More
