What a wonderful place for Sunday brunch. Service is wonderful and attentive without being overbearing. The food is delicious. The views are great and the jazz trio is amazing. We had reservations and it was packed for Mother's Day. The appetizers, lamb lettuce wraps, came 2 minutes before the entree but we understand that happens sometimes. The coffee rubbed strip...

Excellent food. Quality wait staff. Excellent service. The appetizers are great and you could even make a meal out of them. But don't miss the salads and entrees. And the desserts - WOW. To get the full effect of the menu you'll need to visit several times.
Our 2nd house hunting trip and we decided to give high cotton another try after a lackluster first time. We weren't particularly hungry after a late lunch and planned on just a drink. The one good thing I can say is their specialty cocktails are very well prepared and very tasty. We decided a shrimp cocktail might be the perfect...

I helped plan and attended a small private dinner party at High Cotton. They were helpful throughout the planning stages and upon arrival making sure that all details and requests were attended to and they did so in a friendly manner. We reserved the Reedy River Room which is a small private dining room downstairs overlooking the Reedy River (obviously...

I'm a transplant in Greenville from Atlanta, GA, and this is just one of many subpar dining experiences I've had the honor of having in this city. My parents were in town for the evening, and my father requested that we eat at High Cotton. I was hesitant because I know other restaurants with better food (Soby's), but when they...

The view of the river was beautiful and the atmosphere inside very tasteful and modern. The potato leeks soup was excellent although the portion was smaller than I would have liked. We had a trio of soup, turkey club sandwich, side salad with a bright, delicious vinaigrette and finished with a creme brulee. My group was there for a business/pleasure lunch...

The meal & service was Great. THIS WAS...

We have enjoyed Sunday brunch at this restaurant in downtown Greenville on a couple of occasions. This is a fine dining establishment which occupies a bright and airy two story interior which overlooks the Reedy River and the attractive pedestrian walkway. Cuisine here is a variety of low country Charleston items and, indeed, the flagship restaurant is in Charleston. The food...

Hadn't eaten here before because of my misconception that this was a chain like restaurant. Boy was I wrong! From the moment we arrived until we left; we received top notch service, well prepared and delicious food, a delightful jazz trio playing and a beautiful view. I will definitely be back for dinner next time I am visiting! Rick Erwins,...
