In all fairness the name does not do it justice, this is better than a 'Cafe' and receives an excellent rating for location more than anything. We've consistently been to Gulfstream Cafe for the popular Brunch on Sundays a dozen times now and it represents good value, a limited but mouth watering menu and efficient, well presented servers. The restaurant... More

Mother's Day dinner for four with reservations at 5:30p. Seated immediately upon arriving on time. We were seated away from the window but still had a nice view. The acoustics can be loud and they had their jazz music playing a little on the loud side which was fine for me but the high notes bothered my mother. The menu... More

We had been for brunch but we went for dinner this time with out-of-town guests. We were thrilled. Gulfstream has soared to the top of our list now. I requested a table with a view of the water when I made the reservation and I was told they would note it but they couldn't guarantee it. We went early with... More

Good Service, excellent food, By far the best restaurant on the beach. Very busy, so service is a little slow at times but they make up for it in courtesy and good food. Parking is limited.

We were returning to Myrtle Beach from a long enjoyable day at Brookgreen Gardens & our friends recommended we stop for dinner at Gulfstream Café in Garden City Beach. We’re really glad we did. It’s across the road from the Ocean & overlooks the marshes near Murrells Inlet. We arrived in time to enjoy a beautiful sunset. The menu is... More

The view was great however the food is not very desirable. First of all my mother ordered the grouper and when it arrived the presentation was wonderful when she took the first bite all she got was watered down breading from the frozen fish that was cooked inside. I don't understand why you would not use fresh fish from local... More

I had dinner at the Gulfstream Cafe for the second time. As before, the view looking over the marsh at sunset was spectacular. Our server was prompt, and took our orders for drinks and appetizers. I had the oyster shooters, which were outstanding. My son ordered oysters rockefeller, but unfortunately, they had a huge amount of breading and were overcooked.... More

The Gulfstream Cafe is located in a marina with a terrific inlet view. The evening of 4/7/13 provided a wonderful sunset for us. The food was decent but a bit over priced. We started with the Oysters Rockefeller which after a lengthy wait arrived piping hot from the broiler and if not for being a tad laden with cheese may... More

Hi Joseph, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your visit. The oysters are usually one of the best items on the menu! I am so sorry they were not the high light of the meal! Great food selection, freshly prepared and for a good price. Go for the early bird specials. The wait service worked as a team to clear off your dirty plates, refill your drinks and make the service feel above average. The building is beautifully designed and has a great view of the water. Definately high quality food prepared here. Will return... More
