I am a veggie person, and I love eggs. I stopped in a bakery on Society Street and asked where to find a good breakfast. She gave us the name of The Pit Stop, just down the street. We live in Charleston but hadn't been there before. I picked the Super Charger--eggs, feta and veggies. It was delicious. Everything was... More

We had heard of this place, and figured we would give it a try. Are we glad we did! First off, we got breakfast AND lunch for less than just breakfast at our hotel. Secondly, the menu choices are great, the staff friendly and the food delicious. Loved the NY style egg sandwich! Will definitely go back. More

I hadn’t realized that the Pit Stop is closed on Sundays, so we had to wait until Monday morning to try it out for breakfast. So many choices! I ordered a frittata and my spouse ordered a Flat Out with bacon and without cheese. I didn’t know how they could bake a frittata quickly, but they keep them shallow. I... More

I was craving a good deli lunch and the reviews for the Pit Stop looked good so I thought I would try. The sandwich was pretty great... good flavor. But it was sadly small for almost $8. The side I choose was the lobster and bacon mac and cheese. That was a disappointment. It has a unique flavor but it... More

We happened to stumble upon this fantastic little deli right off of King Street, and we are SO glad we did! Our only regret is that we didnt find it till our last day in Charleston. Charleston is known for its delicious Southern food, but it gets pricey, and sometimes you just want a really good sandwich. The Pit Stop... More

If it weren't for Trip Advisor, my husband and I would have never stumbled upon this gem. Great deli sandwiches (Boar's Head meats) at reasonable prices. Great alternative to all the overpriced eateries in the city. The owners and staff are very friendly and go out of their way to give the customer exactly what they want. When we return... More

It was our last day in Charleston and we were looking for good coffee and some breakfast without breaking the bank. Charleston has a lot of nice, nice eating options, but the price tab can ad up. We stump led upon The Pit Stop and boy are we glad we did. Coffee (from a local roaster) was great and all... More

Went to Charleston and happened to find this place on Society Street, just off the main road. I am not a big fan of "chain" restaurants, so I decided to give it a try. I liked that it is family owned--Ali and Bob are so friendly as well as their staff. The food was amazing! I haven't had that good... More

During my visit to Charleston I found this little place called the Pit Stop Deli. I wanted to find someplace that I could get a good sandwich that filled me up, but that wasn't boring, commercialized Subway, and that was a fair price. Boy did I sure find it! I just happened to find this place while walking from King... More
