The good: the garlic and olive oil dip, the oven roasted potatoes The bad:I ordered the seafood special (cod with a seafood sauce) the cod was not fresh and extremely dry, the shrimp and scallops in the sauce were also not fresh...gag. The prim rib special was a huge piece but oddly not very dense, almost spongy. The waitress's favorite... More

My husband and I love it here!! The bread with the warm olive oil dip starts the experience off right! Great drinks, a lot of food choices, & nice atmosphere! We go there as often as possible! :) Service is good too! More

We visited Chiantis on a Saturday evening in December; it was very cold outside. We made the mistake of walking through a door that was hosting a private party and were greeted like we were guests! The staff is very friendly and thoughtful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, no rush to send you out the door. Our waitress was... More

We visited Chianti's on Friday, have been there a few times before. The food is fair, nice size portions, but the quality is average. For example, Swordfish was overcooked, with no flavor. Chicken Francese portion was very large- 3 pieces of chicken, but very thick- cutlets needed to be pounded out, -sauce was pretty good. Same deal with the veal... More

Our family LOVES this place. The staff is super friendly and they are the same people all the time. They start to remember you when you walk in. The food is so good and they give you so much of it, you even have leftovers!! More

Great Italian food, wonderful atmosphere, and warm friendly people. Their veal parm is probably the best in RI (although I am still actively searching for "the best") The meal never fails to be delightful and the view from the sun room seats looking out to the gardens is so tranquil and enjoyable. A wonderful Saturday night evening meal More

Chiantis is in definite need for a remodel. It bodes the 70's wood panel look and has a banquet hall feel. That aside this place was outstanding. I had the chicken sorrentino and it was a more than generous serving and the taste of the pasta gravy was outstanding. All 4 of us at dinner enjoyed our meals and were... More

We decided to have dinner here recently as it is off the main road and not as crowded as some of the other East Greenwich restaurants. Our server, Diann, was very personable and did a great job. The food, however was just ok. The calamari flavor was nice, however the actual rings were very doughy and unappealing. The chicken leonel... More

Our party of 3 thoroughly enjoyed our dinners! Service was good too. The tab - just $63! Ample leftovers! At 4pm on Sunday the restaurant was already filling up. We soon understood why! Their marinara tasted freshly homemade, chunks of tomatoes and fresh herbs! So good I purchased a quart to take home - $4.50. A gallon I'm told is... More
