We didn't stay at the Inn, we stayed at another associated Inn. However, we found ourselves eating on the porch many times because the food was fabulous, large portions, great varieties and wonderful views of the harbor and good place to people watch!
We went with a large group of friends for dinner and a sunset cocktail.
The location and setting is very nice - sitting back in a chair on the sweeping lawn with a drink while watching the sunset was like a scene out of the Great Gatsby. The food was good - nothing to rave about but the setting is...

We had tapas on the lawn around sunset. The food was just OK (and very pricey), the service was very odd (more about that below), but the sunset was the most amazing I've ever seen in my life!! (And I live on the California coast and have visited Hawaii a number of times, so I've seen a lot of sunsets...

The Atlantic Inn is in a beautiful location and is a lovely old building. It's downright stately on an island known for its informality. Be prepared...

I have been lucky to have eaten at the Atlantic several times. Some things never change: the view from the veranda. Spectacular. Drinks and tapas on the veranda before dinner enhance the dining experience. The outstanding servers. The owner sets a high standard for his servers. It works. Dinner in an antique setting, amazing views from all windows and very...

I don't know how anyone can give a bad review for the Atlantic. It is easily the best restaurant on the Island. Creativity is notable and the Chef was professionally trained at Culinary Institute of America. The servers are informative and are able to answer any questions about your meal. This is not a rushed dining experience, so plan on...
