Had lunch there on a sunny day. We ate on the Veranda over looking the harbor. View is great. Service was attentive. Food was excellent. No complaints and I would definitely return.

We sat on the front porch overlooking the ocean I had read they had coconut martinis' but guess that was last years drink but they made me one anyways wasn't what I had hoped for. Two of us had the swordfish, good portions ,little on the salty side, but still good. My other friend had the fish and chips and...

The Tap and Grill were recommended for their fish tacos. I never tried them before, but my son had them in Mexico and raved about them. I thought I would give them a try. Fantastic!!! Our server, Sara H. also recomended them. Sara provided great service. Only wish we were staying longer on the Island, so that we could return.
We enjoyed drinks here, dinner another night and ended our trip with breakfast here. Would highly recommend the clam chowder. The fish and chips are also great ... don't bother with the macaroni salad .. it is very boring!!! And if you like martini's, the coconut martini is awesome! We spent an afternoon sitting on the porch watching the ferry's...

Grand, wonderful porch for outside dining. Also loved the Fireside in the back where one can sit around 2 fire pits while sipping a mojito or Irish coffee.
It was great to sit outside and eat over looking the Ocean and watching the ferries. The food was good and reasonably priced.
I really enjoyed this site. delmonico steak was spicy but soooo tender. We ate here 2 nights of our 4 night stay. Prices were much more reasonable than others site on same block. SALAD BAR was clean and good healthy and un healthy choices which leased all in our party. Great view (across from Ferry)
Best food we ate on the island, had lunch and dinner. Great view of the harbor. Gets busy and noisy but we never had to wait. Underrated for sure!
Party of eight. We knew it was not going to be a McDonald pricetag. So yea over two bills for lunch for four teens and four adults, but the views were great. And the Pt Judith Calimari was really good. I went with the fish tacos and so did KA. They were different meals. Mine was missing the sauce that...

Whenever I visit Block Island, I usually have lunch on the front porch of the National Hotel at the Tap & Grille. The food is consistently good and some of my favorites are the clam chowder, a variety of salads, fish, pasta and the burgers are awesome. The added bonus is the view which is spectacular.
