Love the Whooping Crane on a pretzel bun. Always a good place when you are in a hurry More

I have always loved the sandwiches at Isaac's. My favorite is the penguin club and the sliders are good too. They have a gluten free flatbread for those who can't have bread/gluten. They have a great selection of sandwiches (hot and cold), breads (not just pretzel bread, don't know what that person's issue is), cheeses etc.. If you are in... More

If you like oddly named sandwiches on pretzel bread, Isaac's is for you. It's not a deli and it really isn't a restaurant - more like a quick food where you order at the counter, rather than fast food place. If you don't each bread, forget it! The sandwiches are the main theme with some soups and some desserts, which... More

Deli of Italy is a close second. If it weren't for Isaac's soups and the Fudgie Wudgie, Deli of Italy would be the winner because their bread is the best in York and all the rest of the fixings measure up. But Isaac's menu is way deeper, with great soup and salad selections and fantastic desserts as well. And it's... More

I visit York about once per year. Every time I return, I make a point of eating at Isaac's Deli. They have a wide selection of sandwiches; I've tried several, and have never been disappointed. Terrific food at reasonable prices. More

Had takeout. My wife ordered two sliders for $7.49. They were on about 2" rolls and the rolls were burned (black) when they were toasted. I had the large pterodactyl for $10.29 - it was OK, but Subway's footlong was larger and more tasty at about $6. The 1 oz bag of chips that came with each sandwich didn't nearly... More

This is really a great deal compared to somewhere like Panera. The food is great, a wonderful selection. They have great vegetarian choices, and you can make the sandwhich become what you want it, however trying new things is always a good adventure at this mainly sandwhich restaurant. The colors are brilliant, even if you don't like pink neon. The... More
