Description: The seven story tower of The Washington House Restaurant has been a landmark for over 100 years in the town of Sellersville, Buck's County, Pa. Today it continues to represent warm hospitality & convivial good times. Rescued & lovingly restored in the 1980's by proprietors William Quigley & Elayne Brick, the restaurant is well known for it's thoughtful service & inventive American cuisine. With four intimate dining rooms, a pre-prohibition period bar & a patio for fair weather months, it offers a romantic atmosphere of relaxed elegance. Patrons especially enjoy the carefully chosen wine & beer lists & a year round calendar of events including beer & wine tastings, specialty food nights & seasonal menus.

I've been to the Washington House with friends a few times in the past couple of months and have found it to be consistently good. Great bar, with some dining space in the bar area, and a more formal dining room. It's in a very old but well-maintained building with a lot of character. All the dishes I've had have... More

Went there as it was high recommended by business colleagues. Pub feel. We had the pea soup (average), crab cakes (average - didn't really taste the crab!) and mu colleague had the duck that he though was not too good. So, I guess an average place. nothing exceptional... More

Since I live locally, I often meet friends at the Washington House for drinks and dinner prior to one of their great shows next door, or just to enjoy the lovely and lively outdoor patio on a fine evening. The nicely appointed historic bar is original to the building and has an interesting seasonal menu and a chalk board with... More

Prior to a show at the Sellersville Theater, we had an enjoyable meal here. The menu has a good selection of a wide variety of foods - we particularly enjoyed the unusual appetizers. Service was prompt and professional. We will definitely return. If you like a relaxing drink before or after dinner, be sure to check out the friendly, comfortable... More

We were so smitten with the appetizer menu that we made our dinner out of a variety of them for table sharing. The Reuben Egg Roll was over the top delicious and the Lump Crab chips outstanding. This is only my second time to Washington House as it is 1.5 hours from my home but I can't imagine attending a... More

We visited the Washington House last evening for the wine tasting dinner. The owner did a very nice job of selecting wines and discussing them with the guests. She is a delightful hostess and quite knowledgable about the wine. The three entree dinner selections we well presented and very good. On of us had the fish and three of us... More

My husband and I went to The Washington House on New Year's Eve and had a wonderful five course dinner (special fixed price meal for the holiday). Each course was delicious and well presented by a very friendly and attentive waitress. The restaurant is in an old historic building with a lovely decor, and lively bar area. ** Consider finishing... More

We have been dining here for 14 years. This restaurant just gets better and better. The menu is updated and the chefs are amazing. They serve creative version of traditional foods - like Duck with different fruit sauces, Lump Crab Chips were to die for! 2oz. of Lump Crabmeat, cheese, white beans and a seasoned sour cream and light salsa,... My family goes to the Washington House on a fairly regular basis. We have never been disappointed! Elaine and William have done a beautiful job creating a wonderful experience for their patrons. A+ for the atmosphere the staff and the menu. One thing we always enjoy is that they have also tried to maintain a nice craft beer selection, it... More
