I always visited Benkovitz's for my fresh fish sandwich but since they closed, It was off to Wholey's to get my fish fix! All these years I have been missing out on THE BEST fish sandwich combo deal ! Fresh 1/2 pound Cod Fish sandwich on freshly made roll with , fresh cut fries, freshly made cole slaw and homemade... #6 in Pitt and if you are ranking the fish then it's definitely 5 stars, BUT there are some BIG BUTTS!!!!! I have eaten here before and the fish has always been good and fresh. There is more to a meal though. They also serve fries - very greasy, no crispness, the oil OLD and in need of change in... More

We had Calamari and shrimp poppers with wasabi sauce for apps along with the best bloodymary ever!! Then a lobster roll and Sock eye salmon. Lobster roll too much mayo for my taste and roll too thick but overall food was great!!! Large front window great for people watching!!

I love this place. My kids and hubby do too. This place is a trip in its own. The food is tasty especially the Lobster bisque and Lobster Mac N Cheese. My. Hubby loves the sushi here. Great menu. Staff are very friendly. Restrooms are cleaned which is a plus!

Tried out this place for lunch this past week on the basis of all the amazing reviews. We have been eating our way down the strip all week and have been enjoying Pittsburgh WAY more than expected. The ambiance here is awesome -- the whole fish market scene and the helpful guys at the food counter were just great. We... More

The store has great fresh fish and meats but the fish counter restaurant is amazing. The sandwich serves on the Manchni bread from next door is very simple but very good! Melts in your mouth!! The lobster bisque is out of this world. We get two large containers to bring home and freeze for later. The gumbo is great too.... More

The food was good. But be sure to ask for freshly made. The place is a fish market, not a fine dinning place. Great for lunch. They could definently clean the area better.

Looking for the best seafood in Pittsburgh? THIS is the place to get it. Attached within is a restaurant with ample eating space upstairs. It does have it's crowded times, so if you are with kids, plan for that. We like to go on the "off" times to get a better experience. Food is fantastic! My husband and I like... More
