If you go to Pamela's, go to the one in Millvale or Squirrel Hill. The one downtown tastes different. Get the Big Lincoln and enjoy the best potatoes you've ever eaten for breakfast! The also have a thin pancake that I love because it's not so doughy. More

Pamela's is the place that I take all of my friends and family when they come to visit. The prices are fair (even for college students), and the food is delicious. They have amazing hotcakes, that come stuffed with all sorts of delicious options or just straight up. The portions are huge, so you should come hungry or find a... More

A Pittsburgh original, Pamela's has the full range of diner grub you want. Unique signature hotcakes the President loves, and their corn-beef hash is phenomenal. Don't be discouraged by the line/wait, it moves fast... More

Pamela's is a local chain of diners, sprinkled across several neighborhoods. The food is fairly standard diner/coffee-shop fare, with a few standouts. They make a version of homefries that they call Lyonnaise Potatoes. Basically they are chopped/sliced potatoes, cooked until they soften, with a copious amount of butter mixed in. Yum. Their pancakes are more like large crepes. Thicker than... More

Love Pamela's so much. We must visit every time we are in the Burg. We always order our own omelettes and then split a plate of their crepes. Everything is always so amazing and I always take a little bit home for the next am's breakfast. This place is so inviting and there's so much to look at. We always... More

Pamela's did not disappoint this lover of breakfast! Their hotcakes are wonderful- more like crepes, and their potatoes are phenomenal. Three of us had different pancake dishes- my choice was fresh strawberries, someone else has chocolate chip banana and another banana walnut. No one left a bite. The last person has an omelet which was also excellent. The potatoes were... More

Pamela's is usually crowded and noisy. The walls are covered in vintage family photos. Service here is amazingly fast. The breakfasts are a feast for the eyes and nose as well as the stomach. I never fail to stop in at Pamela's when I visit the Strip District. More
