If you are a beer drinker - ENJOY! This place is awesome! Great selection!! My husband and I both had burgers for dinner and while there was nothing wrong with them, they were nothing special. Would return for drinks if in Pittsburgh in the future.

I love sour beer. Imagine my surprise to discover Fat Head's had it on tap and then 41 others to try. And the menu....too many sandwiches to try. Two in our party ordered the south side slope, rated the 5th best sandwich in the USA. It was great, I ordered a tamer turkey wrap with spinach, roasted red pepper and... More

Visited on 5/14/13 for dinner. Upon entering the place smells great, lots of great food all around. You must get one of their gigantic sandwiches, absolutely the largest sandwich I have had in a long time. Excellent service and the server really knew all about beer and helped us select exactly what paired with our meal. This place gets busy... More

This place is a must if you are craving a beer, burger, and fries on the Southside. The wait can be pretty crazy at times unfortunately (upwards of 2hrs). As nice as the little beer shop upstairs is, they should really turn it into additional seating or a secondary bar to help with the crowds! We have been here many... More

The only reason I didn't give Fat Heads a 5 is because the last time we went there we waited 2 hours for a table. Granted we showed up @ 6pm with 9 people so ..... Anyway, Fat Heads has an awesome craft beer selection, insanely ginormous and deliciously unique sandwiches, and the atmosphere is just so .... so ......... More

Came here a few times while in town for a recent sporting event. Solid pub grub: Smoky Burger and Big Fat Pepperoni Roll were spot on, while the Soft Pretzel is a cheap ($2.95) and delicious way to soak up some of that beer you're drinking. 40+ craft beers on tap, and their original brews are top notch, too (particularly... I'm from Western PA but now live out of town, and I usually spend a night in the city when I'm back in town. Fathead's is a required stop for dinner. Huge sandwich and beer selection. It will likely be packed and with a wait for a table during peak dinner time, so don't go if that bothers you. If... More

When we want to meet up with friends at a local place before a Pitt game, we go to Fat Head’s. Everything is BIG, so bring your appetite. First timers it may take you awhile to pick out what you want. Everything is great from the wings to burgers, but my favorite is their grilled cheese sandwich with homemade potato... More

The menu is huge and so are the sandwiches! Seriously several in our party ate all of their sandwiches.....I couldn't finish 1/2 either time. But man oh man they are tasty. The 30+ microbrew menu is nothing to sneeze at either.

We had an excellent trip to Fat Head's! Our server was very knowledgeable about both the menu and the beer selection and did a fantastic job. The "headwich" we chose was the sweet mb- sooo good! The only thing that did not blow us away were the pierogi. We were expecting traditional fried in butter with onions, and were served... More
