We are not fans of brew pubs, but we went on the recommendation of our grandaughter who attends a nearby college. Our first surprise was the neat, well decorated interior. It appears this local chain has captured the the right combination of brew pub and casual restaurant. We were next surprised by the exstensive menu. Ample choices for appetisers, entrees,... More

I recently took my son and his fiancee here for dinner to celebrate his birthday. I took the time to make reservations through Open Table and could not get the time I wanted but took a reservation for 15 minutes later. When we arrived, the lobby was full of people waiting and when I told the hostess we had reservations,... More

The restaurant is kind of standard for a chain - very similar to Redstone if you like that. The menu is extensive and the food is always good. Service is sound. Not much to rock your boat

The more brewpubs I go to the more convinced I am that you should concentrate on making either excellent beer or excellent food. If you insist on doing both you're mostly likely going to do neither well, as is the case of Iron Hill. Add in such a large selection of site brewed beers (well, they might brew them somewhere... I often stop here on the way home from work for a beer. They brew it on premises and it's delicious! The food is also great, several notches above your average bar food. This is the perfect spot to unwind with friends. I also highly recommend joining the 'King of the Hill' club if you come here often - the... More

Just ate here for the first time. Could not have been more pleased. Such an overall good experience. Great service and delicious food. I had the mesclun salad which had pistachios, dried cranberries, sharp cheddar, apples and an orange vanilla bean vinagriette. Very tasty and so fresh! I also tried the cheesesteak eggrolls which were to die for! My husband... More

We liked sharing a few small plates so we could try several things without filling up. Service was good, too.

Ironhill has a nice beer selection and most are very good, but the food leaves much to be desired (think t.g.I.Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays, etc). Stick with nachos and other apps, entrees are often poorly executed. Avoid this chain restaurant and go to Marlys, Daddy Mims, or Majolica instead, they are worth the few extra dollars.
