Trading as Anchorage this was probably our most visited meal outlet due to central location near the hub of Lord Howe - for coffee but also had a couple of lunches and one evening meal. More

This is really a good bakery with a cafe attached. Meals OK, not outstanding. The "bacon sandwich" was 90% bacon and little else. The "chicken schnitzel" sandwich was OK but a bit stodgy. More

We had dinner here on our first night on LHI. Food was very nice but the service was poor even though they weren't busy - we had to ask for our bill three times and in the end we went to the cash register. Great location in the middle of the shops and near the lagoon but we didn't bother... More

We ate here lots as it is virtually the only all-day cafe in town. Service was OK, food was OK a bit expensive for what you got and they serve a BLT and a steak sandwich with only one piece of bread - not really a sandwich and hard to eat so don't bother ordering. Pizza & Pasta night on... More

The name's now changed to The Anchorage. Open all day, good quality meals and rolls/salads available for take away. More

This restaurant was closest to our accommodation so we went there 4 times in total. We walked out one time because we were ignored for 15 minutes despite only a small number of people in the restaurant. They lost our order another time, again with only a small number of customers (< 10 people on 3 tables). No real apology... More

Humpty Mick's now seems to be marketing itself as the Anchorage cafe, although there is still some Humpty Mick signage and that is still what comes up on the receipt. We booked on a night during the 2012 LHI Rockfest where a band was playing in the restaurant. They were fully booked and turning away walk-ins. We both had lamb... More

Five of us had breakfast, lunch and dinner on a few occasions during our week on the island. We found the service to be great, a couple of newies with their "L"s still did a wonderful job! The food was of excellent quality and value. I would definitely go back to the island and back to Anchorage! Bec and Jess... More

Exceptional food - had a few dinners there. Great for coffee and cake at any time. Didn't try the breakfasts or lunches. The bakery is amazing - try the wholemeal sourdough. More

This restaurant, now called The Anchorage is great for lunch or dinner (haven't yet tried breakfast.) In our party of four for dinner we had steaks and the local Kingfish - both excellent. We also had the most lovely wait person and the whole dinner was a delight. For lunch we've bought fresh baked bread and other bakery items -... More
