Stephen is one of those budding tycoons who has acquired and updated the "Pandanus". It offers the obligatory-on-Lord-Howe kingfish, but Saturday and Sunday nights are Asian, while Tuesday-Friday are a la carte. The welcome couldn't have been more generous and sincere and the staff super-efficient. They often have the place booked out for weddings, so book well in advance.

The service was great and the food was delicious. Given that most of the ingredients have to be freighted to the island, Pandanus did a fabulous job offering a varied menu with lovely fresh food.

Food was delicious. Staff were very friendly and efficient. We had dinner there three times during our stay and enjoyed all meals.

I found the menu selection to be fairly ordinary and though the food was ok I had very good memories from a previous visit which were not substantiated this time.

During our week on Lord Howe Island we went to this restaurant twice. The second time was the Asian menu which we really enjoyed. Compared to other restaurants on the island Pandanus had the most variety on the menu, the food was good and good value for money. Transport home from the restaurant is available.

We ate here on an asian food evening. I had crispy pork belly... yum! Again, kids well catered for, atmosphere great. Excellent and friendly service.

This place was great. The choice is standard during the week and Asian at the weekend. Both options are excellently presented and the flavours are brilliant. Service was good and the staff friendly. Ate there more than once it was so good.
