My husband and I love the food here! Fresh, innovative, reasonably priced and totally delicious. Together the great food and wonderful staff make for a great night. We order off the menu rather than from the sushi train, although both are excellent. So is their range of saki. Not the most salubrious of environments to dine in, but the food... More

I love Sushi any day of the week, so when I heard that O-Sushi Byron Bay was voted Australia's Most favorite Japanese Restaurant for the second time by Lifestyle Channel I Love Food Awards, I had to go and find out for myself - just why. Located in the heart of downtown Byron, it’s a warm and inviting eatery decked... More

Look, nowhere is really cheap any more in Byron Bay. But, O-Sushi is one of the best value places in town. Lots of locals drop in fro a sushi or three. You won't stagger out feeling overfed, but who wants to these days? The miso soup is fine and the green tea is free. Right next door to the best... More

Restaurants in tourist trap towns tend to be expensive and pseudo-sophisticated - mediocre food served at posh prices. O-Sushi is the opposite - fresh, plentiful choices on the sushi train with the option to order from a menu as well. The vegetarian choices are plentiful and delicious - the tempura veg is my favourite but I'm not telling you that... More

They have GF options, which is great for me. I've had they're sushi before which was yummy, but since i was pregnant, salmon was out of the question. So i ordered their teriyaki chicken GF option which turned out to be delishhh. The rest of the family was quite happy with the sushi fare off the train. More

Went for dinner while visiting Byron. The service was second only to the amazing food. A must for anyone visiting or living in Byron. Thumbs up. More

I love the atmosphere, can get expensive if you are hungry, sometimes the separate menu is the best option and they sometimes have a special. More

Have been here a couple of times. The sushi on the train is ok, but over priced. Last visit I ordered some "custom" sushi and they made it wrong twice. It took ages for them to bring out our hot food and the service was pretty inattentive. There are much better sushi/Japanese places in Byron. More

A sushi train style, very tasty, bar style sitting around the train. Take your pick off the caboose or order with a waitress. Menu also available adn daily specials. Very busy in summer so get in early as they don't take bookings. More

My wife and i dined here during our recent trip to Byron after reading the many " outstanding" reviews. We found the sushi fresh and ok, but certainly nothing like previous reviews. Our main gripe would probably be the minimal variety. Most of the dishes were quiet boring to be perfectly honest. Maybe we are just spoilt for sushi in... More
