Eat here at least once a week. Staff remember all regulars and are friendly and efficient. Food and coffee are always great. Menu is terrific, all choices are consistently good.
Went for breakfast yesterday as staying around the corner. Great setting and beautiful day. Sat down and after 10 minutes nobody came to welcome us. So went over to the what appeared to be the 'main man'. Said he would be with us right away. brought us two menu's. Then we sat for another 15 minutes and still no one... More
We ate here three days in a row, for breakfast, after going into central Byron the first day. This place has a great atmosphere away from the busy main strip of Byron Bay. The menu had some tasty choices that were also healthy, light and satisfying. The staff were great. Loved going here! Would definitely go here again and again... More
This place is very much my 'local' being less than 900M from my front door. The food and coffee never dissapoint and the vibe carefully created through funky decor, cool tunes & relaxed staff always make for a wonderful experience - even more so on a gorgeous sunny perfect Byron day! We also enjoyed a fantastic dinner here a few... More
My partner and I popped in this afternoon just for a coffee and it is still the best coffee in town. We stayed at Belongil last year, just after the Bistro opened and remember it fondly. Ordered a lovely dessert......Chocolate and Salted Caramel Tart with Roasted Banana Icecream. So delicious and beautifully presented. I am a happy woman!! Keep up... More
Living at the Sunrise end of Byron it is great to have an option that is closer to home - and a great one at that! We have grabbed their $10 coffee and bacon rolls many times in the morning - much nicer rolls and relish than elsewhere - had lovely lunches of fish and chips and sweet corn fritters... More
Excellent curry dish for $15 with wine at $7.50 per glass of Pinot Gris. Snapper dish also good value at $25.00 Concrete floors and glass walls make for a noisy surrounding but the service was OK if slightly absent.
i see other reviews here saying don't go for dinner and left wondering if they reviewed the same place, had dinner there Saturday night and thought the food was great, Byron is not really know for its food so great to see at least one place going the extra mile. Worth the effect to go that little bit out of... More
Dear Nigel M, Thank you for your review. We are working very hard to tick as many of our customers boxes as possible. We agree regarding the negative reviews a while back, who interestingly dined on the same night. We replied to them in length hoping to answer their concerns and regretted not being able to resolve their issues on... More
We are here at Belongil for our honeymoon and have eaten here for either breakfast or dinner every day. The food is amazing as are the staff who have greeted us each day. The green smoothies are amazing! We will definitely be back to eat there many more times over the coming years. Hopefully nothing changed.
I ate on Friday night at the Belongil Bistro and was extremely disappointed. The menu is totally unsuitable for an evening meal. The menu could best be described as a competent brunch cafe menu- sandwiches, burgers and salads. The staff enthusiastic but totally unable to cope. Rename the venue the Belongil Cafe and close in the evenings and after a... More
Dear Mickt100, We are sorry we were not able to satisfy you on this occasion and regret not having received a direct communication from you, allowing us to compensate you in some way, preferring to publicly humiliate a very hardworking team using social media. Please see the response to ‘Don’t go for Dinner’ for a detailed explanation of our change... More
