“Friendly old fashion service”

Breakfast, lunch or dinner, there are large portions at the Red Lion. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome, not just a customer. Onion rings are the best, add the chicken salad wrap with bacon and it’s a home run. Tuesday get the wrap, salad, fries and a drink as the lunch special. More

I have breakfast there just about every week an lunch or dinner occasionally. Breakfast service is very fast (about five minutes). My only issue is that some of the home fries tend to be burnt, but not as much as Lancers and some other places. I never figures why diners seem to always overcook the potatoes a bit. For other... Food is bland. No one in our group was happy with the way the food was done or the flavor. Service was poor too. Slow and items were missing. Been there 1x and had the same experiencce. Food is pricy compared to other diners There are much better options in the area. More

Happened upon this place when I was staying in a very cheap room on the NAS Base across the street. The night gaurds recommended it, and boy were they right on the money! It was rolling with business, but not obscenely crowded, the food was consistantly great and the service was wonderful! When I think of a diner I think... More
