I have been to this place a number of times in the last couple of years. From happy hour time the place is always busy. The service is ok. The food feels massed produced but it is tasty and reasonable. Same formula makes their place in Mechanicsburg busy also.

This is one of those tucked away treasures in a college town that everyone has found. At least that is what it looked like when we went to lunch there. The rather large room was full. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their time there. The draft beer and bottled beer menus should please anyone. The lunch menu, and the large... More

My wife and I stopped here for a pop and were surprised to learn that Elizabethtown does not have a taxi service. As we were asking locals how they get home, they told us they just drive themselves... This bar does has a fantastic line up of beers in varying sizes but unless you have a DD, you cannot truly... TJ Rockwells has a very good menu with offerings from appetizers, salads, sandwiches, soups to very good entrees. They offer a mug club that you can join annually and Sunday brunch. They also have great specials during the week and for NFL games. Great place to kick back, relax and have some fun. In the summer they have an awesome... More

Lets start with the little that is "bad"- they are always busy, and usually the indoor spaces are loud. Not the place for an intimate dinner date. Now the good- almost everything else: food, service, selection, and drinks available. Great sandwich selection, good fried food of all kinds (Rhino Fries are killer), and well done entrees are all reasonably priced.... More

OK for a night out but nothing special. Food was OK. Good selection of beer on tap. Good wait staff, a bit loud.

Taco salad had bagged lettuce, tiny pieces of tomatoe and a little shredded cheese. The only part that was good was the grilled chicken on top it came with burned chips on top and a wad of sour creme. I found myself chastising myself for not making a trip to Taco Bell instead for 4.00 dollars less.

I had heard of TJ Rockwells, but never knew where it was. There are two locations - Elizabethtown and Mechanicsburg. The E-town restaurant is a bit out of place - on a street lined with houses. Regardless, once you find it - GO TO EAT! We've never been disappointed! Their chicken sandwiches are good, as is their pulled pork and... More

We like going to Rockwells when the deck is open. The last time was in Nov.....we ate inside. Whether we are inside or outside the atmosphere is good....service is good.....food is excellent and the prices are reasonable.
