My spouse and I dined at Locanda Cavallo in May of 2012. The owner and her son run this restaurant, which also has a few rooms that function as a B&B. The location is along the river (Route 611) close to Easton. The restaurant is very well maintained, with newish-looking windows and up-to-date security and lighting systems. The air-conditioning works... More

I was amazed when first entering Locanda Cavallo. Within seconds I felt like I was in one of the Castle's in Europe that I have visited. The staff was superb...the food...I have no one or two words to describe it. I could never remember being able to cut veal with a fork, and have it melt in my mouth as... More

An experience to be repeated. Dramatic lighting and staging, spotlighting an array of collections and massive Italian furniture. Imaginative dishes, to please any pallet, meat, fish or Vegan . Marvelous deserts.. Memorable New Years Eve 2011 till early A.M.2012. Bravo to a great mother and son team, 'Shirley and Brondo. The dining halls, table decors was exquisite.

We bring 2 -3 couples and close friends, once or twice a year for an 'evening'. The less you tell people about it the better! But, rising costs, which create life long memorable evenings that will reward you for long after the evening ends, make it a good suggestion that it is not inexpensive. If you had as charming and... My favorite BYOB in the Lehigh Valley is La Locanda Cavallo aka Cavallo’s on route 611 in Williams Township. It is definitely a place to go for a special occasion because it is truly a 4-5 hour "experience" of food, pampering and conversation. Upon arriving, we are greeted by our waiter, GianBrondo Cavallo who introduces himself and explains that he... More

I was married at Cavallos' Bistro in 2001. It was a fabulous experience. Our guest raved about the atmosphere and exceptional food for quite some time after. We have also dined there numerous times for an evening with friends. It is an 'evening' not just dinner. Allow yourself a few hours to fully enjoy the atmosphere and Shirleys homemade pasta... More

Truly, from start to finish, Cavallos is a dining "experience." Right off the bat, it is not cheap, but I can say that the evening is worth every penny. It is a five course meal, with luxurious time between courses. Shirley Cavallo cooks everything herself, and if you're looking for personal attention, a beautiful setting, and fabuous food, this is... More
