Whoever gave this place more than two or three stars certainly does not now what good food is! Had dinner there on a Friday nite, had the crab patties, burnt on the outside little taste on inside not at all hot. For the prices they charge, they will not last. Disappointed diner. More

Last night we had dinner with friends and this is the quintessential experience that validates why I go to TripAdviser to look for places to eat - locally owned restaurant with its own unique touches, excellent food from a varied and enticing menu and outstanding, friendly service. Pricing for entrees was in the mid $20s for a slate of creatively... More

Food is world class. Service is fantastic. Have had just about each dish over the past visits, each is done perfectly. More

I went to this restaurant with a colleague; we were here on business. The service and the food were both outstanding. My colleague had soba noodles with tofu; I had the flounder special, preceded by the crab/avocado salad. We were too full for dessert, unfortunately, but I hope to be back in Easton sometime to try the desserts (which are... More

We had tickets to the State Theatre in Easton, PA on Friday night and were looking for a place for dinner. We went to our old faithful "tripadvisor" and #1 on the hit parade was Megs and Mads. Based on the reviews, we booked dinner for 4 and could not have been happier. The service right from the start was... More

Megs and Mads is a wonderful little restaurant a few blocks from Lafayette College far removed from the more well known restaurants in the downtown area but yet far surpassing them in quality of food and service. The exterior of the building is very unassuming, and in fact, in need of some repair. The interior is also rather basic and... More

Went to Megs and Mads before the holidays 2011 and had a fabulous experience. The place was packed, but we had reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. Although the service was slow to acknowledge we were seated (waited 10 minutes and then flagged down a waitress to ask if anyone was assigned to our table), from that... More

We picked this place based on the reviews and the BYOB and were not disappointed. found parking easily enough right in front, which was a good start. Our appys were good. I especially liked my roasted beets with truffles goat cheese. For entrees, I had the duck, which was terrific. My wife had the prime rib special and thought the... More

I wanted to take my girlfriend out to a nice place for dinner, but I didn't want it to be cliche'. I found this place on TripAdvisor and called to make a reservation (glad I did, there aren't many tables.) Once me and my girlfriend got inside, we were greeted by the friendly staff. The restaurant has a very home... More

We have been here about 3-4 times now.The chef comes out and mingles with people. Always some great meat and fish dishes. Portion size is good and the atmosphere is nice; small room; you can actually have a normal volume conversation easily here. One thing that impressed me: my wife and I often work later and have to dine often... More
