My husband and I decided to try Sidney's for the first time yesterday so we stopped in and sat in the pub side of the restaurant for lunch. We each ordered a pint of beer with classic fish and chips. Wow!! The portion size was great; there were nice pieces of hand-battered fresh cod with crispy potato wedges, all perfectly... More

Well prepared, high quality items to chose from this sensibly sized menu. Fresh, local and seasonal offerings. From our table I could hear Chef on this busy night in control of his staff and running an efficient kitchen. Meats cooked to order, a medium duck breast, a medium rare strip steak, both with a nice sear on the outside. Side... More

This is an outstanding restaurant that may be off the beaten path but well worth the trip. The food is outstanding, the flavors unique and exciting. It is truly an experience to be savored and remembered. The menu is Ala-Carte, the prices slightly above average but the food and tastes justify the price. More

My husband and went to Sidneys for Valentines Day. Have been there before. Food is always a surprise (but in a good way). Probably the most gourmet restaurant I have discovered in York and Adams County. Atmosphere makes you feel you went back in time. Salmon for Ron and Scallops for myself. Tried a red wine from Lebanon of all... More

Very high quality ingredients, inventive menu offers selections that are quite out of the box for the 'area"...from Octopus Salad to Duck Breast, a Rabbit special... Great attention to detail. Very good wine list. Dessert menu is also very interesting. Considering that the area mostly offers Pennsylvania Dutch family joints and/or fast food chain restaurants, this is a welcome exception. I'm not going to say this was the best place I've ever been but for East Berlin, it was good. First off the food was excellent. My scallops were perfectly cooked. My husband also enjoyed his steak. When I called to make a reservation they said they could book us for 730 which worked out good for us. When we... More

Sidney is an amazing place with wonderful food. If your speed is Olive Garden, Red Lobster, or Macaroni Grill, it is time to change your pace! Chef Neil does amazing things by combining flavors and tastes that are so appealing to the palate! My all-time favorite is the Charred Calamari. We visit Sidney at least once a month and my... More

My husband happened upon Sidney and stopped in for lunch. He texted me a photograph of his fish and chips because he was so impressed and didn't stop talking about how good it was for a week. We finally decided to take my parents there since we had been planning on taking them out for some time. The restaurant itself... More

Like finding a twenty in jeans pulled out of the attic from last spring, Sydney was a unexpected and pleasant surprise. Sydney checks all the right boxes: fresh, locally sourced ingredients, prepared lovingly from a simple dynamic menu, served properly in comfortably elegant surroundings. Really, really good. More
