This place has it all together. Great environments, attentive serving & bussing staff, knowledgeable, informed responses to menu/entree questions and a variety to satisfy the most particular and aspedestic of palettes. The food arrives timely and we never feel rushed to complete the transaction so the table can be turned over. This is one of our favorite "quiet night out"... More

I had the Asian Pork Tendorloin and the Seafood Bisque. Both were very tasty and fresh. I saw someone order a steak and I will be back to try that. Looked very good and the presentation was top notch! I was impressed by the overall value! I would say it is a must try! More

Boiling Springs, PA is a charming, U.S. town near the PA Turnpike (Carlisle and Harrisburg.) The rolling hills and fishing pond resemble a Norman Rockwell scene from the 1950’s. The Boiling Springs Tavern is a perfect setting for a tavern dinner. Having recently returned from Las Vegas, the Boiling Springs Tavern is a welcome dinner respite. And travelers will find... More

Pleasant dining atmosphere in a lovely setting across from the Boiling Springs lake. Food was nicely prepared and our desserts were worth every calorie. Afterwards we took a stroll along the lake and the creek at the edge of the parking lot, where there are benches to use as we enjoyed the lively waterfowl. More

Met relatives there for lunch and had a great lunch. We also went for dinner with friends and had a great time even if we did get lost coming home. More

The Oysters Rockefeller were good; however, it was lacking a little Pernod. My duck was better than average; again however, I tasted my friend's fried oysters. They were frozen, not fresh, and the oyster was so bad I spit it out. The word sucks comes to mind. The service was better than average. More

The food is fair considering what they charge. Also, the atmosphere in their rear dining room is awful. It can be so noisy when they are busy, you can't speak to the person next to you. It is getting dingy and needs a good freshening update. More

Tip = don't go. The dining room is fairly nice. Pretentious atmosphere. I had overpriced small, broiled crab cakes which were flavorful along with 3 quarter-sized roasted potatoes and maybe six green beans; $24. The server suggested that there was one soft-shell crab left which my wife ordered with eager anticipation. Big mistake. After 3 bites my wife said she... More
