I think this place, which I believe has a different name, is a nice place, it is clean, the servers were wonderful, but it was quite costly for the amount and quality of food. Would not return More

We wandered in the Wild Pear one cold rainy day. The soups and sandwiches are awesome. Great find in downtown. More

My husband and I go to this restaurant often and the food is always fresh and very good. The service is always great, you won't be disappointed with anything. Everything on the menu is good. The only drawback, it's always crowded but worth the wait. More

Wild Pear always delivers on the quality of their food. It's a go-to place in downtown Salem. It's very success --the food -- is also it's flaw. This place is almost always crowded. That means you have to wait to be seated and you will be close to the people around you when you are seated. It means the wait... More

One of the best soups I ever had was here. When I've eaten there, it's been nice creative cuisine, good quality, prices okay, and we got great friendly service. Popular enough to get crowded, though; may take a while to get a table. More

I was intrigued when I walked by the lovely Wild Pear and had to stop in for dinner. I figured it was rather impetuous of me, but why not because there are not a lot of local choices in town. We were served by Jonathan, better known of the circuit as "Jon Jon." The food was good, company great and... More
