This place was highly recommended, and I'm hoping this was just an off night. But, it was very off. We waited for almost 45 minutes, outside, with no place to sit. It was hot. It took almost 20 minutes before we were offered a cocktail and another 10 for us to get it. Once seated, the service was terrible. Waited... More

Friendly. Fast. Fun. The beans are great and cheap. The empanadas are great. But, the fish sandwich was terrible, tasted like the fish they use had been set out for a few days to cure. It has an intolerable fishy taste. Clearly, not fresh, or even kept frozen prior to preparation.

I have eaten at Pambiche 4 times. I keep hoping that it will be good and I keep getting expensive mediocere food. You would think I would finally learn.

I came across this place when I browsed for restaurants in Portland as I wanted to try something other than brewpub food. We were staying in the Northeast so this place seemed convenient. Easy to get to and easy street parking (weekday lunch). Charming, colorful exterior with curbside dining, which could be noisy at times as there was a bus... More

I haven't been here in a long time. I remember when it first opened. The place used to be a stinky Laundromat! What an improvement! I had a really good Cuban Panini-type sandwich and a dessert made with plantain bananas. good stuff!

Lemonade with sticks of fresh sugar cane, plantains, either sweet or savory, and absolutely delicious entrees or breakfasts makes Pambiche a true delight! On nice days, they have seating and music outdoors. It's lovely.

We were recommended here by a local. It was about a 30 to 40 min wait. The place is small, food is really good. They have heat lamps where you can sit outside if its cold. You have to sign yourself in for a table, which is a little weird because its hanging on a clipboard outside the door. Authentic... More

We had dinner here twice and both times the food was wonderful. Amazing blends of flavors. The dough for the empanadas is, according to my wife, among the best she ever tasted and she is a great cook in her own right. The cocktails are also very good and reasonably priced. Be realistic in your expectations about the setting. There... More

We had heard about this place from friends so we had been wanting to try it for a long time and I'm so glad we did! We had a party of 4 and everyone really enjoyed what they had. Two of us had Cuban sandwiches, and 2 had combo plates. The plates had huge portions! The price was a tad... More

Always good food and they make their own deserts which are very tasty Often have to wait but its always worth it. Outside seating has heat but i would rather sit inside except for summer nites Great coffee I would go out of my way just for this
