Yes, the restaurant is fantastic, but the little bar they have in the back basement is a great find. The bartender makes AWESOME muddled drinks and the patio is a great hideaway. Try the old fashioned, fantastic!

Popular with the younger adult population for the bar scene. Food is over over billed and VERY expensive, Only when we have guests in town who demand a bar scene do we go.
This place was recommended by the Naked Winery people and it did not disappoint. I had the elk meatloaf with a beer and my wife had the smoked salmon fettuccine. We had excellent service and she was attentive and answered some of our questions on local wineries. It is in a renovated house and has some real charm for dinner....

Fun atmosphere and great service, but is way over-priced for substandard fare. $9 for meagerly Caesar's salad. Entre's small and bland and very expensive. Spring rolls pretty good. Just drink the beer - go someplace else to eat.
We were visiting Hood River from Portland for the weekend. Brian's Pour House seemed cozy and promising from the outside. When the two of us stepped inside at 9:30 most tables were open. Without a single greeting, we assumed we should just take a seat. After waiting almost 5 minutes, a waitress approached us asking if we wanted dinner, with...

YUMM! Give me about 5 orders of those! And I am super picky about my bloody mary, and the bartender went above and beyond to make me happy. Great drinks, really good food, and hip atmosphere. My favorite in Hood River thus far.
Walking around the small town of Hood River, we came across this charming old house that happened to be Brian's Pourhouse. It was cold & rainy & they had a fire going...so in we went. We sat at the bar to have a drink & just look at the menu, but when food came out of the kitchen & the...

Elk meatloaf and creme brûlée top the menu... One of our best meals in Oregon. Well done chefs and staff at The pourhouse.
