We were very grateful to walk into this restaurant on Thanksgiving Day. Although we didn't have reservations, we were seated immediately and waited on efficiently. We had a choice of the Thanksgiving traditional plate or the regular menu. I ordered the turkey and dressing w/mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce; it was great comfort food. The potatoes were definitely real. My... More

We only had breakfast, but what a breakfast!!! Delicious. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed the couple of nights we were there, but we were told the cuisine is very good.

After a night in The Hood River Hotel, we decided to have breakfast with our discount coupon from the room in their hotel restaurant, Cornerstone Cuisine. We shared the salmon omelet and the blueberry pancakes. Both were excellent and portions were too large to finish for both of us.

Went here with family twice, breakfast and lunch. All food was hearty and tasty. One time the restaurant was very busy, so understandably the service was slow. But for lunch we were the only people there and service was still quite slow. Somewhat pricy but good historic hotel ambiance.

Cornerstone Cuisine was a surprise! Just happened upon it for lunch and we were treated to terrific food! We had yummy olives, grilled asparagus, gazpacho, and vegetable foccacia. Sat on the patio and enjoyed very bite!

We were looking for a place to sit down and have a nice breakfast and wow, did we ever find it! Lots of choices and not your typical fare! Our breakfast was absolutely wonderful and very reasonably priced!!!! We went back the next day but were unable to be seated as the place was packed!!! The hostess suggested a couple... More

This place is a gem. Chef Whitehead knows what he is doing and honors the ingredients he uses in his simple but hearty menu items. The dinner menu is short but full of satisfying plates, great for sharing. We actually swooned over every one of the five plates we ordered, including arguably the best hamburger we've ever had, which came... More

I have enjoyed lunch at this restaurant in the Hood River Hotel three times, and have always been impressed with the menu offerings and quality of the food. The menu is quite lovely, with many options for all types of tastes....from grilled lamb burgers to seasonal salads...they are all presented nicely and are delicious. The soups are always beautiful and... More

Cute place in a historic hotel. I ordered carbonara, he ordered meatballs. Because I have prepared carbonara myself, was surprised to be served a bowl of macaroni with a minuscule amount of Parmesan mixed in and a fried egg on top. My husband ordered the meatballs, which were ok. They were understaffed for a summer evening and waits were long.... More
