Excellent lunch. Great food and staff. Tacos were crisp and tasty. Sauce nice and spicy. Chips were fresh warm and crispy.
As our party walked into the restaurant, I asked one of the staff if they served Tex-Mex or authentic Mexican food. "It depends on what you order," he said. "We have both." They really do have both! The enchiladas with chili con carne are Tex-Mex and their puerco lindo, chile rellenos, and fajitas are unmistakably authentic. They served warm tostadas,... More
Service at Chelinos was friendly and fast. We were immediately served chips with fresh salsa and salsa queso, each guest had their individual salsa's (no worries about double dipping). We had the Chelino's sampler platter, if you have a relatively small appetite it is more than enough for two. Dessert was sopapillas and they too were fresh and delicious. Excellent... More
I love Mexican food and this place was great. The staff was so friendly, service was quick, and the portions were huge. I would return to OKC just to eat here. Hubby and I got the Tacos al Carbon burritos and when they asked do you want lunch size or dinner, we took dinner, BIG mistake it was way too... More
I have eaten at this Chelinos (on May) and at other locations but this one by far is the better one, especially at lunch! With so many great Mexican restaurants in OKC you can probably do better. The food is blah and the salsa is pretty lacking. The service has always been good.
We go here every time we are in Oklahoma City. Food is always well-prepared and service is friendly. Can be busy, but our waiter handled our table of eight, including two children, with no problem.

Our original plan was to go to Abulello's (spelling is probably wrong) upon recommendation of a flight attendant. It was void of customers so looking across the parking lot we... More
My wife and I saw the new Chelino's had opened in the old Ninos restaurant on nw highway. So we decided to check it out. We were greeted at the entrance by Marcelino (Chelino) the owner himself. The place has been painted and cleaned up and is wonderful. They have a tortilla machine making fresh tortillas and all the same... More
This a a small little restaurant with a big plate of food! This has to be one of the best restaurants that I have ever eaten at. It is a must if you go to Oklahoma City.
